In addition, the police also prosecuted the defendants Vu Hoang Long (born 1992, in Dong Da district, Hanoi) and Nguyen Cong Anh (born 1994, in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi) for the act of "Humiliating others".

Police determined that Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai, the owner of a clothing store, discovered that her husband, Mr. P., was having an affair with Ms. NBN (born 2001, in Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi), so she repeatedly advised her husband to end this relationship.

After that, Mai received many provocative messages from her love rival, so she told her friend LTD. Knowing that Ms. N. had a beauty salon, Mai discussed with D. pretending to schedule a filler injection appointment with Ms. N., located at an apartment in Tay Ho district.

Before proceeding, Mai asked her friend to hire Vu Hoang Long to "protect" her, and told D. to buy hair clippers as a tool to threaten N. Before Long left, the subject invited Nguyen Cong Anh.

As scheduled, Ms. N. and her staff went to the meeting place requested by Mai. There, Mai cursed her love rival. This woman then asked Long and Cong Anh to restrain Ms. N. so she could slap, beat, and use a knife to cut her rival's hair.

The incident was recorded by D. using her phone. Before leaving, Mai took Ms. N's handbag. After finishing, Mai paid Long 1.5 million VND. Long gave Cong Anh 1 million VND of this amount. Mai took the bag home.

The victim then went to report to the authorities. Tay Ho District Police summoned Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai for questioning.

At the investigation headquarters, Mai confessed to the crime. Police seized a video recording the incident from D's phone.

Realizing their illegal behavior, Nguyen Cong Anh and Vu Hoang Long went to Tay Ho District Police to surrender to enjoy leniency under the law.
