Prosecution initiated against group of young men from a village in Nghe An province for carrying knives and swords to fight.
The Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department announced that it has issued a decision to initiate criminal proceedings and indict a group of individuals residing in Ky Son district, Nghe An province, for the crime of "Intentional infliction of injury".
According to the investigation results: On the evening of May 15, 2025, Lau Ba Cai (born in 2006), residing in Huoi village, Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district, conspired and persuaded 12 other individuals to prepare weapons to resolve a conflict with another group of young men in Ka Duoi village, Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district.

Upon receiving a tip from the public, the Na Ngoi commune police task force immediately went to Ka Duoi village to assess the situation and handle the incident. They discovered a group of young men carrying knives and swords and exhibiting suspicious behavior.disturbing public orderThe task force requested the group of young men to come to the police station for questioning. However, the young men refused to comply and fled in their vehicle. Some even acted recklessly and aggressively, using weapons to resist arrest.
With courage and determination, the authorities apprehended the group of suspects and brought them to the police station for investigation and clarification.
At the investigative agency, the suspects admitted to preparing weapons to retaliate for a personal conflict.

Currently, the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Nghe An Provincial Police has initiated a criminal case and indicted 7 individuals for the crime of "Intentional Infliction of Injury". The remaining individuals are still under investigation to be dealt with according to the law.
