Prosecution of young man who crashed his car into traffic police
Driving without rearview mirrors, when seeing the police force signal to check, Nguyen Thanh Long did not comply but turned around and ran away, speeding up and hitting the traffic police.
On December 29, Phu Binh District Police (Thai Nguyen Province) announced that they had just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue a detention order against Nguyen Thanh Long (born 2002, residing in Nga My Commune, Phu Binh District) for the act ofresisting law enforcement.

Previously, at around 7:25 p.m. on December 24, Nguyen Thanh Long drove a motorbike with license plate 20G1-623.96, carrying Ms. Duong Thi H. (born 2007) on National Highway 37 in the direction from Bac Giang to Thai Nguyen.
When arriving at Km101 - Km101+100 (in group 1, Huong Son town, Phu Binh district), Long met the working group of the Traffic Police Department - Provincial Police and the Traffic Police - Order Team - Phu Binh District Police, who were performing the task of patrolling, controlling and ensuring traffic safety during the peak period before the Lunar New Year 2025.
Because the car did not have rearview mirrors, fearing being prosecuted, when the traffic police signaled to stop the car, Long did not comply but turned the car around and ran in the opposite direction.
Long accelerated and crashed into Captain Nguyen Xuan Khuong, a member of the working group, causing Captain Khuong to fall to the road and be injured.
After the incident, the task force restrained Long and handed him over to Phu Binh District Police. After receiving him, the District Police made a record of the arrest of Nguyen Thanh Long for the act of resisting a person on duty.
