Control and arrest man with 3 kg of drugs

(Baonghean.vn) - Monitoring the subject's movements, the police determined that the black briefcase contained drugs, so they deployed forces to surround and arrest him.

During the investigation, in early 2017, Nghia Dan District Police discovered a subject named Le Van Quang (born in 1968, residing in Hong Thai hamlet, Nghia Hong commune, Nghia Dan district) showing signs of illegally buying and selling large quantities of drugs.

On June 12, Nghia Dan District Police coordinated with Department 3, Department C47 to decide to establish a drug project with code 617Q to focus on fighting and destroying this ring.

After monitoring, the Investigation Committee determined that in the early morning of June 29, 2017, Le Van Quang would go to Que Phong district to buy crystal meth, then transport it to Thanh Hoa and Hai Phong for consumption.

As predicted, at around 3:00 a.m. on June 29, 2017, Quang left his home on a motorbike with license plate 37G1-687.89, following National Highway 48E towards Quy Hop district. At around 5:30 a.m. the same day, the detectives reported that the subject had passed through Sang Le intersection, Quy Hop district towards Quy Chau and Que Phong districts.

At around 10am the same day, the reconnaissance teams reported that Quang had appeared and was on his way back, with a black briefcase in front of the car suspected to be used to contain drugs. The reconnaissance teams continued to take turns monitoring the subject.

Arriving at Yen Hop commune, Quy Hop district, the detectives approached the suspect's car. Although it was running at high speed, with their bravery and courage, the detectives did not fear danger and rushed in to control and capture the suspect.

The seized evidence was a black handbag containing 3 kg of crystal meth, 290 million VND in cash, 1 motorbike, and 2 cell phones.

On the afternoon of June 29, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district came to congratulate and award 50 million VND to the 617Q project team./.
