Fire control at straw warehouse
(Baonghean.vn) - While cooking in the kitchen, Ms. Ha discovered that the electrical wiring in her house had short-circuited and a fire quickly broke out in her family's straw shed. Ms. Ha called on the people to help put out the fire and reported it to the fire department.
On the morning of November 22, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, Nghe An Provincial Police promptly extinguished the fire at the straw storage house of Mr. Pham Van The (born in 1945, in Hamlet 3, Hung Nhan Commune, Hung Nguyen District) and prevented the fire from spreading to the neighboring house. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.

Earlier, at around 8am the same day, Ms. Pham Thi Ha, Mr. The's daughter-in-law, was cooking in the kitchen when she discovered that the electrical wiring in the house had short-circuited and the fire quickly broke out in the family's straw shed. The straw shed was roofed with bamboo and was about 25m wide.2The fire was burning fiercely, threatening to spread to Mr. The's large house and two other houses next door. Immediately after that, Ms. Ha called for help from the people to put out the fire and reported it to the fire department.
Upon receiving the news, 5 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers from Fire Fighting and Rescue Teams No. 1 and No. 7 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police) quickly arrived at the scene and urgently put out the fire.
Because the house contained a lot of thick, layered straw and a lot of smoke, the fire was difficult to extinguish. By 9:30 a.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties and did not spread to surrounding houses.
