On the morning of April 9, the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district issued Decision No. 184/QD-UBND on administrative sanctions against Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - Owner of Thien Nga food and beverage service business, located in Hoa Dong block, Thach Giam town for the act of "Failure to comply with the suspension of business activities for non-essential service business establishments to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic" according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister.
Previously, despite being reminded many times, at 11:25 on April 8, the interdisciplinary inspection team of Tuong Duong district discovered that Thien Nga food and beverage service business was still open to serve customers. The team requested to close the business and made a record of the handling.

The representative of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Tuong Duong District said: The fine is based on the provisions of Point c, Clause 4, Article 11, Decree No. 176/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Prime Minister. This is the first case in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong to be administratively sanctioned for "Failure to comply with the suspension of business activities for non-essential service establishments to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic".
Previously, a number of restaurants and service stores in Vinh city and Thai Hoa town were also fined after being reminded many times but did not close to prevent the epidemic.
