Previously, to clarify the content of the petition of Mr. Dinh Van Tai (born in 1984, residing in block 12, Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city) accusing Ms. L. (residing in Hung Phuc commune, Hung Nguyen) of beating Mr. Tai's child, Vinh city police asked the family to provide the results of the child's clinical health examination.

The results of the child’s health examination provided by the family showed that there were no injuries on the child’s body. Because the family did not submit a request for a disability assessment, the police did not request a disability assessment of the child.

Regarding the content of Mr. Tai's family accusing Mrs. L. of repeatedly turning off the camera to beat the child, Vinh City Police said that there is no basis. "We instruct the family to continue monitoring the child's health. If the child has any problems, the family should report to the police so that there is a basis for handling," said a representative of Vinh City Police.

Previously, seeing that the camera in his family had lost signal many times, Mr. Dinh Van Tai asked a friend to come and check and found out that someone had turned off the camera. On October 24, Mr. Tai reviewed the camera data and discovered that at 10:00 a.m. on October 11, Ms. L., the person Mr. Tai hired to help, had used a pillow to hit and raised her hand to hit and shake her son.

Because Mrs. L. denied her actions, Mr. Tai reported to Ben Thuy Ward Police, filing a complaint requesting clarification of Mrs. L.'s actions. Mr. Tai suspected that Mrs. L. may have beaten his son many times, causing the child to vomit and the back of the child's head to show signs of brain swelling.

After receiving the incident, Ben Thuy Ward Police invited Ms. L. to the headquarters to work, and at the same time transferred the file to Vinh City Police to verify and clarify according to their authority.

In response to the above accusation, Ms. Dang Thi L. apologized to Mr. Tai's family but still claimed that the child refused to sleep that day so she acted a bit too harshly, but did not actually beat the child, and that was the only time she acted like that.
