Parsons joked about his own dire situation, saying he wanted to teach his two dogs how to open doors.

Luckily, after an hour and a half of waiting and fearing he would miss the entire awards ceremony, the actor was finally able to get his ID back and make it to the Dolby Theatre.

Although the actor's film didn't take home any Oscars, he enjoyed the ceremony and playfully posted a photo of himself "sharing a smile" with actress Meryl Streep.
