According to a preliminary report from the inter-school examination council in Vinh, 23,763 out of 36,383 candidates attended the exam (a participation rate of 65.31%). The universities with the highest attendance rates were Dai Nam University and Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Hong Bang International University had no candidates present. Vinh University had an attendance rate of over 70%.

At the 54 examination centers across 74 universities and colleges, the exams proceeded safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. After the Mathematics exam, no candidates or invigilators violated the exam regulations. Security, order, and traffic safety were ensured, with no congestion. No incidents occurred at the examination centers; electricity, water, fans, and facilities were all in good working order.
However, at some examination sites, groups of people handing out advertising leaflets for vocational schools and colleges surrounded the candidates.
