The three key members of the debt collection group were unsuccessful so they staged a scene of beating someone up and robbing them of their property. |
Because NVP (born in 2007, from Ben Tre) owed Hoang money and did not pay, Hoang told his group about it. The group planned to "lure" P out to rob his property... to pay off the debt.
On the evening of October 3, Hoang called P to meet him at a coffee shop in Lu Gia residential area (Ward 15, District 11) to settle a debt. P and a friend went to the meeting place to meet Hoang. While the three were talking, Hoang's group, who had been waiting, rushed in, used helmets to beat P and his friend, then robbed them of two phones. To avoid being discovered, the group pretended to steal Hoang's wallet and phone before leaving.
Hoang and P went to the police station to report. District 11 police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police to investigate and arrest the members of the robbery group one by one and expose the robbery scheme of Hoang's group.
