After 3 days of treatment at Seberang Jaya Hospital, Penang State, Malaysia, Mr. Phan Van Trong still has not had surgery on his broken leg to graft bone, while the hospital bill is quite high, and his relatives do not have enough money to pay.
Trong's health was deteriorating, his injured leg was swollen, black, painful, and at risk of necrosis, so his family decided to send him back to Vietnam for treatment. Before boarding the plane back to Vietnam at 8am on April 28, this leg was temporarily put in a cast.

It is known that Trong's family is in difficult circumstances, his father died early. In Malaysia, Trong was a freelance worker, so when he had an accident, he did not have insurance. Trong's employer only paid a small amount of hospital fees and then abandoned the victim at the hospital. In recent days, fellow Nghe An people and Vietnamese people in Malaysia have raised some money to help Trong pay the hospital fees.
As reported, Mr. Phan Van Trong has been working in Malaysia for 4 years. On the afternoon of April 24, while welding an oil tank at a manufacturing facility in Prai province, Penang state, Trong had an accident. The empty oil tank suddenly exploded, seriously injuring him, breaking his left leg, and causing him to lose consciousness on the spot.
