Truong Sa space will come to Da Lat Flower Festival
A lively and impressive Truong Sa space made of stone and flowers will appear at the 5th Da Lat Flower Festival, taking place in the last days of 2013 and welcoming the new year 2014.

According to the Organizing Committee of the 2013 Cultural - Festival Week of Lam Dong province, this Da Lat Flower Festival will also be held with the flower spaces of the Central Highlands (Le Dai Hanh - Ong Dao bridge), the Pretty Garden (Xuan Huong lake); flower exhibition at the City Flower Garden; Da Lat flower market (Nguyen Van Cu street) and activities at the two flower villages of Van Thanh and Thai Phien.
The flower and ornamental plant exhibition at Da Lat City Flower Garden is one of the main programs not only of the Flower Festival but also the highlight of a series of events in the Cultural Week - Festival 2013 of Lam Dong province, including the first Vietnam-ASEAN UNESCO Heritage Festival, the 120th Anniversary of Da Lat's formation and development, the fifth Da Lat Flower Festival and the opening of the National Tourism Year of the Central Highlands - Da Lat 2014.
The new feature of this flower exhibition is the appearance of Truong Sa stone miniatures, which are made to serve the people and visitors, and at the same time contribute to the propaganda about Truong Sa, about Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands. Truong Sa stone miniatures have symbols of the island, sovereignty markers made of stone and decorated with high-quality commercial poinsettias. In which, red poinsettias are used as the background of the flag and yellow poinsettias are used as stars to create the image of the national flag standing out among thousands of flowers.
At the flower exhibition, many items have been renovated and renewed such as the flower square, the fairy garden under the canopy of ancient trees, the azalea hill, the flower display area with about 10,000 artifacts, works of art about flowers, trees, ornamental plants, bonsai. Within the framework of the exhibition, there are also many competitions of flowers, ornamental plants, bonsai, rockery, ornamental rocks, ornamental birds...
The main activities of the 2013 Lam Dong Culture-Festival Week in general and the 5th Da Lat Flower Festival will take place simultaneously for 5 days, from December 27-31. The official opening ceremony of the “4 in 1” festival week will take place on the evening of December 27 at Lam Vien Square - the center of Da Lat city.
On the same morning, the flower and ornamental plant exhibition will be opened at Da Lat Flower Garden, opening the events of this awaited festival week./.
