Unlimited liquids on domestic flights

According to Circular 01/2016 on the Aviation Security Program (ANHK) and Vietnam ANHK quality control (effective from May 1), passengers on domestic flights are allowed to carry unlimited quantities of liquids, viscous substances, and aerosols (LAG) on their person and in carry-on luggage.

For international flights, the Circular stipulates that only a limit of 1 liter of liquid is applied and the capacity of each bottle, jar, or container of liquid must not exceed 100ml, and must be completely sealed for LAGs traveling on international flights.

Regarding identification documents when traveling by plane, Circular 01/2016 requires that Vietnamese passengers aged 14 and over (the age required to have an ID card or Citizen Identification Card) must have one of the following documents: passport or travel document; separate visa, permanent residence card, temporary residence card; ID card, Citizen Identification card; identification papers, certifications of the armed forces; National Assembly Delegate card; Party member card; Journalist card; car and motorbike driving license; airport security control card; card of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee; identification card of Vietnamese airlines; paper from a competent authority certifying that the passenger has just completed a sentence.

For Vietnamese passengers under 14 years old, one of the following documents is required: personal passport or passport with the name included in the parent's passport; Birth certificate (in case the child is under 1 month old and does not have a birth certificate, use a birth certificate); Confirmation paper from a social organization for children being raised by a social organization
