Heavy rain forecast in the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An
The Northern regions, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are forecast to have heavy to very heavy rain from the night of September 24 until the end of September 25.

The Prime Minister directed Nghe An and other northern provinces to focus on responding to the risks of floods, landslides, and flash floods.
From the night of August 11-15, 2024, heavy rains are forecast to occur in the North, with a high possibility of flooding on rivers and streams, especially a very high risk of flash floods and landslides. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued Official Dispatch No. 78/CD-TTg dated August 11, 2024 requesting ministries, branches and localities to focus on responding to the risk of rain, floods, landslides and flash floods in the North.

The highest temperature will be from 33 to 36 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas reaching over 38 degrees Celsius.
Heat wave continues to dominate the Northern and Central regions
Heat waves on top of heat waves have been occurring continuously in the Central provinces and will continue to exist in both the Central and Northern regions for the next 2-3 days. From June 2-3, the Northern region will have little rain, hot sunny days, with the highest temperature from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius.
