(Baonghean) - Going to Tam Hop (Tuong Duong) on ​​a spring day, passing through the winding mountain slopes, red dust mixed with the mist of the border highlands, I felt the separation of space and time in the vast wilderness. Coming to this remote place to see the hardships of the highland people, where the whole commune has only over a thousand people living. To see that this land needs a lot of youth, needs a lot of hands to turn "stones" into "rice"...

Looking at the curious and eager eyes of the children and mountain girls in the bustling atmosphere of the day of launching the construction of Tam Hop Youth Village, we saw the spirit of youth surging. Seeing the strong belief and determination of the boys and girls with burning hearts full of enthusiasm, with hands, minds and volunteer spirit, eagerly coming to the border area to change the face of this land.

There will be difficult days in the early days of land reclamation, there will be salty sweat on sunburned skin, there will be cold days in the border area and there will be many shortages. But no matter, the ambitions and dreams of youth will give wings to their ideals, helping them overcome everything. Love will turn “strange land into homeland”, they will bring spring to the mountains and forests, these remote villages. Roads will be connected, bare hills will be covered with green, life will be warm and prosperous, villages will be prosperous… Then we will be proud of an unforgettable youth and in each life of those in green shirts, the melody of the lyrics that go with the years will forever resonate: “Because of the love of the homeland, there is no need for youth, there is no difficulty, there is youth… no matter how high the mountains, no matter how deep the water, no matter how hard it is, as youth volunteers, we promise to be determined to take the lead”.

Being proactive and volunteering has become a good quality of generations of Vietnamese youth, generations of young people who have fallen in the cause of independence and freedom. It is a solid foundation for today's youth to firmly step forward with the nation to successfully carry out the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.

We believe that one day in the not too distant future, this place will become a promised land, covering every life with green, a land of the future and hope, a place of closeness, familiarity and warm military-civilian relations.
