A magnificent, beautiful view of the world from above
From jungle palace ruins in Sri Lanka to skyscrapers in Dubai (UAE), master photographers come together to give readers a new look at the world.
Sigiriya in Sri Lankais the ruins of an ancient palace built on a 370 m high rock during the reign of King Kassapa I (477-495). Jerome Courtial, the author of the photo, said he had difficulty finding a place to fly the drone. Surrounding Sigiriya is a dense forest with many wild animals living there.
