Syria crisis overshadows Obama's visit to Germany
US President Barack Obama has arrived in Germany for talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel on economic issues and the Syrian crisis.
This is the last stop on President Obama's six-day tour of the Middle East, the UK and Germany. Before that, Mr. Obama visited the UK for three days. Here, he called on the people of the Foggy Land to vote for Britain to remain in the European Union in the referendum next June.

In Germany, along with Chancellor Merkel, President Obama is expected to visit and give a speech at a major industrial trade fair.
Ahead of the meeting, the two US-German leaders expressed hope that the US-European Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) multilateral trade agreement, if reached, would boost foreign trade between the two countries to about 100 billion USD per year.
It can be seen that US President Obama is making every effort to conclude negotiations on the Transatlantic Free Trade Agreement (TTIP) before he officially leaves office on January 20, 2017.
Before returning home, President Obama, Chancellor Merkel, French President Francoise Hollande and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi will meet to discuss intelligence sharing after terrorist attacks in France and Belgium and a political solution to the Syrian crisis./.
