Encouraging highland youth to boldly start a business

(Baonghean.vn) -Implementing the 2017 Youth Union work program, aiming to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in order to innovate and improve the quality of activities, on the evening of March 11, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Tam Dinh commune, Tuong Duong district organized a meeting of the whole Youth Union.

Attending the meeting and sharing about the difficulties in the work of the Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Ngoc Canh frankly pointed out the reality that the Youth Union officials have not yet grasped the trends and aspirations of the youth in a timely manner.

"Therefore, in addition to grasping policies and guidelines, the most important thing is that Youth Union cadres need to be close to the youth, understand their thoughts and aspirations," he emphasized.

Affirming that to develop the movement, the core thing is to develop the economy, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union promised to work with the District Youth Union to arrange economic development projects to help local youth promote their strength and intelligence right in the locality. From there, the work of gathering and uniting at the grassroots level will become increasingly stable and sustainable.

The head of the Provincial Youth Union also suggested that grassroots Youth Union officials need to innovate their working methods. “Youth union activities should not be organized according to a template. Youth Union officials should change their working methods to be richer and more diverse, linked to the needs and tastes of youth union members.”

Referring to the issue of starting a business, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh said that Nghe An currently has a capital source of more than 900 billion for young people to borrow to do business. This is a great opportunity to help young people start a business. Therefore, the Youth Union officials need to establish a reasonable plan and boldly propose it to the authorities at all levels.
