New generation Kia Morning revealed

The third generation Kia Morning hatchback has just launched a more modern and masculine exterior design.

The Korean car company has just revealed the first image of the new Kia Morning, called Picanto, in the European market. The exterior is sophisticated and modern, but does not show a complete transformation in design style.

The new generation Kia Morning has a radiator grille connecting the headlights, fog lights on the air intake similar to the old generation. The car shape is more compact and elegant, the contrasting color border on the body creates an accent. The wheel design is also different from before.

The graphic image of the interior design is somewhat similar to the new generation Kia Rio. The separate display screen, on the dashboard, many silver metal details give a more luxurious feel.

Kia has not yet announced engine details for the new Picanto/Morning. But it is likely that this model can be equipped with a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine with a capacity of 65 horsepower. Or a 1.25-liter 4-cylinder with a capacity of 85 horsepower similar to the new Hyundai i10, according to Autoexpress.

The new generation Kia Morning is expected to launch in 2017. In Vietnam, Kia's hatchback model is currently distributed in 5 versions, with the lowest price of 327 million VND. It competes directly with Chevrolet Spark and Hyundai i10.

Contrast color trim on the body emphasizes the sporty style.

The cockpit is quite similar to the new Kia Rio.
