What is the scenario for agricultural development in Nghe An?

Promote forestry development
According to the growth scenario of Nghe An Agriculture sector in 2019, striving for food output of 1.245 million tons; raw sugarcane 1.67 million tons; oranges, tangerines 49.8 thousand tons (area 5,200 ha); rubber latex 7.5 thousand tons (area 12.22 thousand ha); tea buds 78.2 thousand tons (area 8.3 thousand ha);...
Regarding livestock: Total buffalo herd 280 thousand heads; cow herd 486 thousand heads (striving to increase by 1 thousand heads compared to the assigned 2019 plan); total pig herd 1.010 million heads (striving to increase by 10 thousand heads compared to the assigned 2019 plan); poultry herd 24 million heads; fresh milk output 250 million liters; fresh meat output 249.6 thousand tons (striving to increase by 4.6 thousand tons compared to the assigned 2019 plan).

Regarding forestry: Plant new concentrated forests on over 18,000 hectares (striving to increase by 1,000 hectares compared to the assigned 2019 plan), focus on directing the expansion of large timber forest planting areas; exploiting timber (planted forests) to reach over 700,000 m3(strive to increase 20 thousand m)3compared to the assigned 2019 plan); bringing forest coverage to 57.72%.
Regarding aquaculture: Aquaculture output reached 199,000 tons (of which: 147,000 tons were exploited, 52,000 tons were farmed); Maintaining the existing aquaculture area (about 21,000 hectares) stably, focusing on prioritizing investment in intensive farming and CNC application in key farming areas such as Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc, and Hoang Mai.
Regarding new rural construction: Strive for 27 communes and 1 district (Yen Thanh) to meet new rural standards, with the average number of criteria in the province reaching 16.00 criteria/commune.
Focus on farm farming and clean products
To realize this growth scenario with higher-than-planned targets, the industry focuses on attracting resources to implement the Central and provincial policies to support agricultural and rural development; Directing the reorganization of production and livestock farming in the area according to the chain, in which the leading role of enterprises (through links with livestock farmers), associations and cooperatives is maximized, focusing on investing in large livestock farms.

Some solutions were also proposed: Pay attention to removing difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process to soon promote the Masan pig farming project in Quy Hop district and Mavin in Anh Son district. Create conditions to expand the product consumption market to fully exploit the capacity of Nghia Dan Wood Processing Factory.
The industry also proposed to facilitate the settlement of necessary procedures to put into operation Tan Hong Pulp Factory in Con Cuong District to consume raw material products according to the planning; speed up the construction progress of Anh Son Wood Processing Factory to increase the consumption of wood products grown in the province.
