(Baonghean.vn) - As has become a tradition, every winter, students of Duc Son Secondary School (Anh Son) gather together to contribute firewood to give to lonely elderly people and policy families in the area. All hope to bring them a warm Tet.

| This is the 15th consecutive year that Duc Son Secondary School’s Youth Union has organized for students to contribute firewood to give to the elderly and disadvantaged families in the area. With the meaning of bundles of firewood warming people’s hearts, more than 600 students of the school responded in unison. |

| Mr. Nguyen Le Tu - Secretary of the Youth Union of Duc Son Secondary School said: "Realizing that Duc Son is mainly mountainous and forested, with a lot of firewood, while lonely elderly people and policy families need firewood for cooking and heating in the winter, the school's youth union came up with the idea of donating firewood to help the elderly and mothers have a warmer Tet holiday." This year, after only 1 week of launching, nearly 4 tons of firewood were donated to 15 disadvantaged families in the area. |
