Checking safety, mastery and combat readiness in Anh Son district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 15, a working delegation of Nghe An province led by comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, inspected the work of safety, mastery and combat readiness (ATLC- SSCĐ) in Anh Son district.

Before working with the ATLC - SSCĐ Board of Anh Son district, the working group divided into 2 inspection teams in Tao Son and Thach Son communes and visited and gave gifts to Lang Dien parish, Thach Son commune on the occasion of Christmas 2017.

In 2017, the political system of Anh Son district was always cared for, consolidated and improved, promoting its role and responsibility in leading, directing and successfully implementing the local political, economic and social tasks.

The national defense and security situation is stable; local military and defense work is regularly taken care of by the Party Committee and government; military rear policies are well implemented.

During the year, the district organized military examinations and recruitment, achieving 100% of the target; promptly directed the resolution of issues arising at the grassroots level; considered admitting 120 new party members, and established 2 new party cells and 1 party committee on the basis of separating and merging affiliated party cells and party committees.

The economic sector has made the right move, with economic growth reaching 10.13% and average income per capita reaching more than 25.5 million VND/year.

In his concluding remarks at the meeting, comrade Thai Thanh Quy highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee and people of Anh Son district in the work of safety and combat readiness.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission also requested that in the coming time, the district continue to firmly grasp the situation, maintain political security and social order and safety in the area, and continue to focus on building solidarity between religions.

Anh Son district also needs to strengthen direct dialogue with the people, build a solid people's position, create momentum for local socio-economic development; improve the quality of activities of organizations in the political system at the grassroots level, regularly do a good job of inspection, supervision, mass mobilization work, and encourage people to promote labor production, develop the economy, and improve their lives.
