(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of December 24, 2014, the inter-agency team of the province, led by Mr. Le Dinh Ly - Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, continued its surprise inspection of several agencies under the provincial departments and sectors to ensure compliance with Directive 17/CT.

At the Provincial Market Management Department, during the inspection, the team found that the unit had effectively disseminated and implemented Directive 17/CT of the Provincial Party Committee to its Party members and civil servants. The Department also disseminated and implemented Directive 14/CT-BCT of the Minister of Industry and Trade on improving work quality, responsibility, and discipline. Furthermore, the unit concretized some requirements of Directive 17 into the regulations on workplace culture and ethical standards for civil servants; monthly assessments of compliance with the two directives were conducted; and working hours were strictly adhered to… However, during the inspection, the unit was found to have not publicly disclosed and revised the content to align with Directive 17 for civil servants to be aware of; some teams still lacked nameplates and job titles; and some newly recruited civil servants did not yet have identification cards…

At the Sub-Department of Dike Management and Flood Control, the Sub-Department has disseminated Directive 17 to its Party branch; officials and employees generally adhere well to working hours, and there is no smoking in the office; the office environment is neat and clean. However, during the inspection, the team also noted that the unit lacked records showing the implementation of Directive 17 requirements for its staff; officials and employees did not wear identification badges, and offices lacked nameplates indicating job titles; work plans were not detailed for each department; the Sub-Department had revised its internal regulations and workplace culture regulations but had not specifically addressed the requirements of Directive 17 regarding rectifying administrative discipline and prohibiting alcohol consumption…

Following the inspection, the delegation reported the results to the leaders of the Sub-Department; and requested the units to promptly review and re-inspect in order to find solutions to rectify the shortcomings in the future. On behalf of the inspected units, Mr. Tran Dang Ninh – Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Head of the Sub-Department of Market Management, and Mr. Nguyen Si Hung – Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Head of the Sub-Department of Dike Management and Flood Control, sincerely accepted all the comments from the inspection team; and committed to rectifying the shortcomings and deficiencies pointed out by the inspection team in the future.
