Inspecting administrative management of social order and safety in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 31, a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Lieutenant General To Thuong, Director General of General Department VII, inspected the administrative management of social order in the first 6 months of 2014 at Nghe An Police. Receiving and working with the delegation were Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police and leaders of related professional units.

In the first 6 months of 2014, Nghe An Provincial Police have synchronously and effectively deployed many contents and measures of administrative management of social order, serving well all aspects of the work of the administrative management force on social order, especially the detection, arrest, handling of crimes and law violations, effectively implementing inspections and handling of traffic safety violations, strengthening the management and recovery of weapons, explosives, and supporting tools; inspecting and handling conditional business lines on security and order, fire prevention and fighting... contributing to reducing traffic accidents in all 3 criteria, no major fires and explosions occurred, high penalties for administrative violations in the field of social order and safety, mobilizing people to recover a large number of weapons, explosives, and supporting tools, contributing to limiting the causes and conditions for criminals to take advantage of activities, improving the quality and effectiveness of the work of the local police and the commune police in charge of security and order. Proactively apply professional measures to effectively combat all types of crimes on traffic routes, contributing significantly to ensuring security and order in the province.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and raising a number of problems that need to be overcome in the coming time, such as the complicated situation of traffic safety, many violations of road traffic safety laws, the sense of responsibility of some sectors and organizations in coordinating to ensure traffic safety is sometimes not high, and the potential for criminals and social evils to take advantage of this field to operate is still large.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General To Thuong acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Nghe An Public Security Administrative Management Police force. He also directed a number of contents that need to be focused on in the coming time: The Traffic Police force needs to coordinate better with other departments and branches in performing the task of ensuring traffic order and safety, especially in inspecting and handling violations of overloading; building and perfecting the legal system on administrative management; disseminating the legal system to all people; reforming administrative procedures to serve the aspirations and legitimate demands of the people. The working group will collect and report to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for consideration and handling of recommendations and proposals from the Nghe An Public Security.
