(Baonghean.vn) - A delegation from Military Region 4, led by Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, recently conducted a practical driving inspection of Tank Battalion 1, belonging to the 206th Tank and Armored Brigade.

The purpose of this inspection was to test the combat readiness training results of the Brigade, the organizational and command skills of officers at all levels, tank driving techniques, and the coordination capabilities between tank crews and platoons. Simultaneously, it aimed to inspect the technical condition of weapons, equipment, vehicles, communication systems, and the soldiers' ability to operate and use weapons and equipment, as well as their mobility and ability to handle situations during marches. The inspection revealed that, due to thorough preparation and regular, comprehensive training, the tank crews successfully completed the 50km march as required by the Military Region, ensuring the safety of personnel, weapons, and technical equipment.

On behalf of the inspection team, Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong commended the achievements of the unit's officers and soldiers in the inspection in particular, and in the implementation of combat readiness training in general.
