Check alcohol concentration, detect illegal possession of drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City Police are currently detaining Lo Van Bang (born in 1998), residing in Ban Noong group, Pu Trang ward, Nghia Lo town, Yen Bai province, for illegal possession of drugs.
Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on March 18, 2024, the Traffic Police - Order Team, Vinh City Police were conducting a special inspection to handle alcohol concentration violations in the area of Le Loi Street (in Block 5, Le Loi Ward) when they discovered a motorbike with license plate 29N5 - 8023 with many suspicious signs.
The task force immediately signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection, caught the driver, Lo Van Bang, red-handed for illegally storing drugs, and seized 3 small packages weighing 0.212 grams, suspected to be heroin. Through a quick test, Lo Van Bang tested positive for drugs.
Currently, the Traffic Police - Order Team of Vinh City Police has completed the file and handed it over to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team for handling according to authority.
