Checking the grassroots democracy regulations in Quy Hop district

(Baonghean.vn) - Carrying out the duties of a member of the Provincial Steering Committee on grassroots democracy regulations, on December 8, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee led by comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc inspected the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations in Quy Hop district.

Before working with the Steering Committee for implementing grassroots democracy regulations in Quy Hop district, the delegation inspected the implementation results in Nghia Xuan commune and Nghe Tinh Non-ferrous Metal Joint Stock Company.

Through inspection at the grassroots level and working with Quy Hop district, the working group highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the district's DCCS regulations. In 2015, the district People's Committee directed the People's Committees of communes and towns to continue to propagate and organize the implementation of the grassroots QCDC regulations according to Decree No. 34, Decrees 04/CP, 60/CP of the Government; continue to direct the strict implementation of Directive 17-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening discipline and administrative order in agencies and units in the area. The district People's Committee organized 4 meetings and direct dialogues with enterprises in the district, through dialogues, resolved difficulties and obstacles regarding capital sources, taxes, and procedures for registering mines, etc.

Thanks to the good implementation of the DCCS regulations, the economic growth rate in 2015 reached 8.91%, all socio-economic indicators increased compared to the same period in 2014. The budget revenue in the area in 2015 is estimated at 115,800 million VND, reaching 101% of the plan; the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life continues to be effectively organized and implemented. The average income per capita is 23.65 million/person/year. The poverty rate is 15%, down 3.45% compared to 2014.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong acknowledged the results of Quy Hop district in implementing the grassroots QCDC, and pointed out a number of tasks in the coming time, which are: Continuing to pay attention to propaganda work to raise awareness for Party committees and authorities at all levels, for cadres, party members, and the masses about implementing the QCDC at the grassroots level. It is necessary to diversify the methods and means of propaganda; Pay attention to posting clear regulations at agencies, units, communes, and towns.
