(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 18th, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the progress of the construction of the road project connecting National Highway 1A - Nghia Dan district - Thai Hoa town and the road connecting Provincial Road 537 to the Nghia Dan MDF wood processing factory.

The road project connecting National Highway 1A - Nghia Dan district - Thai Hoa town has a total length of 29km, with a total investment of 855 billion VND, of which more than 420 billion VND has been allocated so far. Regarding land clearance, there are still localized issues with 0.4km in Hoang Mai (0.2km) and Thai Hoa (0.2km).

The construction unit is making every effort to complete the roadbed along the route.

At Km5+00, the roadbed has been cleared, but there is still one household obstructing the way.

The reason is that some households are requesting additional compensation for the area located within the corridor boundary. Regarding the project's progress, the construction units are still working slowly and behind schedule.

According to the minutes signed on May 4, 2015, between the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Department of Transport, and General Corporation 36, the unit will carry out construction with a production value of 83 billion VND, including the following main items: completing the entire roadbed, bridges, and culverts along the route; effectively addressing landslide areas; and completing the connecting routes to the Nghia Dan district administrative center and the connecting route to the MDF wood processing plant.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of the road construction leading to the MDF factory and directed the contractor and relevant departments to address any obstacles so that the factory can start operating soon.

Specifically, the project to repair and upgrade the branch road connecting Trung - Binh - Lam roads, invested by the Nghia Dan District People's Committee, includes two main routes: Route 1, connecting from Nghia Trung, Nghia Binh, and Nghia Lam communes to Hoang Mai road leading to Thai Hoa, with a length of over 1.4km and a road scale of level 5 - mountainous area; Route 2, connecting from Hoang Mai road leading to Thai Hoa to Nghia Dan MDF wood processing factory, with a length of 2.8km and a road scale of level 3 - mountainous area, has now basically completed the roadbed for the entire route.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien requested the Department of Transportation to direct the resolution of all obstacles and expedite the completion of the project.

Following an on-site inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien directed the contractor and construction unit to provide sufficient machinery, equipment, and personnel to accelerate progress and meet the requirements. He also instructed them to expedite the completion of bridge and culvert construction, compaction, embankment laying, and asphalt paving along the entire route as soon as possible.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned Nghia Dan district to directly work with relevant units to ensure water supply for the factory; and to restore the local road for residents to use outside the factory's premises. It is expected that the MDF wood processing factory will begin operating its production line and selling products to the market in August 2015. Therefore, accelerating the progress and completing the road connecting Provincial Road 537 through Trung-Binh-Lam to the factory is essential. In addition, the planned power grid system also needs to be quickly upgraded, with Nghia Dan becoming a priority partner for electricity supply.
