Checking the progress of the road construction connecting National Highway 1A to Nghia Dan.

(Baonghean)On the morning of May 27th, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the progress of the road construction connecting National Highway 1A to Nghia Dan and Thai Hoa Town. Currently, the road has completed 29/29 km of the roadbed (100%), 10.5 km of type 2 crushed stone base (36%), 108/113 culverts (95.5%), and 5/7 bridge girders have been launched.

After inspecting the construction site and listening to statements from the construction unit, departments, agencies, and localities through which the road passes, Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien emphasized that the road connecting National Highway 1A to Nghia Dan and Thai Hoa town is an important project not only for the region but also for the entire Nghe An province. He also highly appreciated the contractor's construction efforts, as well as the close coordination between departments, agencies, and localities.

The Vice Chairman requested that localities complete land clearance and resolve any outstanding issues before June 30, 2013, with some areas needing completion before June 10; complete the construction of the road foundation, culverts, and some bridges before July 30, 2013; and educate the public not to encroach on traffic safety corridors. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned specific tasks to relevant departments, agencies, localities, and construction units to work together to overcome difficulties and ensure the road project is implemented on schedule. Specifically, the Department of Transport is tasked with advising and coordinating to find solutions for securing funding for contractors and holding meetings with residents to sign commitments not to violate traffic safety corridors.
