Comprehensive inspection of military and defense work in Yen Thanh

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 5, the leaders of Military Region 4, Nghe An Provincial Military Command, led by Colonel Tran Minh Thanh, Political Commissar of Military Region 4, conducted a comprehensive inspection of military and defense work in Yen Thanh district.

In 2017, closely following the instructions and orders of superiors, the Yen Thanh District Military Command advised the Party Committee and the government to effectively deploy local military and defense tasks, organized the signing of joint agreements between the District Military Command and departments, branches, sectors and organizations; mobilized forces to serve the provincial defense area exercise with high results.

Well organized defense drills, storm and flood prevention - search and rescue, forest fire prevention in 2017 in 10 communes, with 9/10 units achieving excellent results. Coordinated to open 1 training class on national defense and security knowledge for target 3, opened 4 training classes for target 4; opened 1 training class for religious dignitaries and officials with over 1,300 participants.

Recruited and handed over 250 young men to join the army, achieving 100% of the assigned target. Conducted political training for political officers in 39 communes and towns. Advised on planning of training grounds, training grounds, rear bases combined with concentrated production areas and new military positions.

Along with a comprehensive inspection at the Yen Thanh District Military Command, the Delegation inspected the military and defense work in 2017 in Hoa Thanh Commune. Through grasping the situation in the following areas: Force organization according to Circular 33, ensuring regimes for militia, military recruitment, reserve mobilization, basic awareness of mobile platoon forces, technical equipment serving the conditions... were all seriously implemented by Hoa Thanh, in accordance with regulations.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Tran Minh Thanh - Colonel, Political Commissar of Military Region 4 praised the efforts in local military and defense work in Yen Thanh. He hoped that Yen Thanh would regularly grasp the situation at the grassroots level, promptly resolve policies and regimes, and replicate creative ways to meet the military and defense tasks in the new situation./.
