Food safety and hygiene inspection in Quy Chau
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 25th, the inter-agency food safety inspection team of the province conducted inspections of several food production and business establishments in Quy Chau district.
The delegation inspected Hai Thuyen Restaurant and the kitchen of Tan Lac Town Kindergarten. The inspection revealed that both establishments had fully implemented all regulations, documents, and directives regarding food safety and hygiene. The delegation also highly praised the efforts and decisive involvement of the Quy Chau District Food Safety and Hygiene Steering Committee and the establishments in ensuring food safety and hygiene.

The current limitations in food safety inspection in Quy Chau are that most of the food circulating and consumed in the area originates from other localities, making control difficult. Furthermore, the inspection force lacks the necessary equipment and tools to test for pesticide residues and banned substances in food. The delegation requested the District Food Safety Steering Committee to monitor and inspect the implementation of food safety practices by establishments in the area and report the results to the Provincial Inter-sectoral Food Safety Steering Committee.
