Strengthening the Central Steering Committee for national target programs
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision 186/QD-TTg dated March 8, 2023, completing the members of the Central Steering Committee for national target programs for the 2021-2025 period.

Specifically, complete the membership of the Central Steering Committee for national target programs for the period 2021 - 2025 for the following gentlemen and ladies:
Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Committee.
Mr. Pham Duc Long, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications - Standing Member (replacing Mr. Pham Anh Tuan).
Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van, Deputy Minister of Construction - Member (replacing Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh).
Ms. Dang Hoang Oanh, Deputy Minister of Justice - Member (new addition).
Invite Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van, Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union - Member (replacing Ms. Bui Thi Thom).
* According to Decision 1945/QD-TTg dated November 18, 2021 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Central Steering Committee for national target programs for the period 2021 - 2025, the Central Steering Committee has the function of assisting the Prime Minister in researching, directing, and coordinating the resolution of tasks related to the management and organization of the implementation of national target programs for the period 2021 - 2025.
The tasks and powers of the Central Steering Committee are to study and propose to the Prime Minister to promulgate mechanisms and policies to effectively implement national target programs for the 2021-2025 period; assist the Prime Minister in coordinating activities between ministries, branches, central and local agencies in the process of organizing and implementing national target programs for the 2021-2025 period.
At the same time, assist the Prime Minister in urging ministries, branches, central and local agencies to develop and perfect mechanisms, policies and organize the implementation of national target programs for the 2021-2025 period; monitor, urge, evaluate, summarize and conclude the implementation of national target programs for the 2021-2025 period.
