French architect talks about Crystal Bay's iconic buildings

What have you and your colleagues done to meet the needs of Crystal Bay investors, building successful projects that are symbols of the land?

Every place has a story to tell, and we have a deep passion and drive to uncover this story. In other words, we use architecture as a bridge between the history and symbols of the land, spreading good values ​​to the international community through tourism.

SunBay Park Hotel & Resort Phan Rang is one of the pioneering international destinations ofCrystal Bayin Ninh Thuan. PPd, as an interior design consultant for the project, wants to tell a story about life under the ocean and the harmony between natural elements and people here. We tell this inspiring story in every detail of the interior such as objects, colors, images, patterns...

This trend of returning to nature is gradually becoming popular in the world and in Vietnam. So how does PPd incorporate the element of “harmony between nature and humans” into Crystal Bay projects?

As a developer, we take environmental issues very seriously. At PPd, we use advanced software to analyze environmental factors to create designs that have minimal impact on each site. We then use the same technology to understand how solar heat affects the building. Using this analysis, we can adjust our designs to create an architecture that is less reliant on energy consumption for lighting and air conditioning.

Planting suitable trees, creating a lush green color of the project landscape is also very important. We choose native plants that have adapted here for centuries, they only need a minimum amount of water to stay lush all year round. The green tropical gardens and flowers will attract birds to fly to. This brings a peaceful atmosphere, creating a feeling of absolute relaxation for visitors.

In addition, to create a healthy and green living space, we spend a lot of time and effort to create hotel rooms with 100% sea view and use environmentally friendly materials. All are aimed at bringing comfort and convenience to visitors, just like the feeling of being at home.

With projects ofCrystal BayIn Ninh Thuan, we have done in-depth research on the ancient architecture of the Cham people. The architects directly visited the towers - 1,000-year-old structures of the Panduranga region to better understand the Cham ethnic architecture in Ninh Thuan. From there, we developed starting from the general design phase of the entire area, the design phase of the architectural blocks typical for each project, and then the interior design. We even use suitable materials to regulate the temperature in each hotel room, with the desire that visitors feel and experience the indigenous cultural imprint both consciously and subconsciously.

Sailing Bay Ninh Chu project, in the shape of a sail filled with wind, will be the new symbol of Ninh Chu (Ninh Thuan).

PPd architects use striking colors on Cham brocade materials, image collections of traditional Cham dances, tropical nature... Typical materials such as terracotta, bricks, and Bau Truc pottery bring a close cultural connection and create a unique impression on tourists coming to relax in the desert.Ninh Thuan
