Kiev sees “Turkish Stream” as a more dangerous project than “Nord Stream - 2”
For Kiev, the Turkish gas pipeline is even more dangerous than Nord Stream 2, because after the entire pipeline is opened, Ukraine will eventually lose its function as a transit point for Russian gas.

The magazine "Novoe vremya" reported citing Mr. Karel Girman, an energy expert of the Advisory Group to Support Strategic Reforms of the Government of Ukraine.
According to expert Girman, Nord Stream 2 cannot supply gas to buyers from southern Europe, which leaves Ukraine with a chance to maintain most of the transit system. However, when the entire Turkish Stream chain is operational, Russian gas will be supplied to Italy, France and the Balkan countries.
At the same time, according to this advisor, in the case of the construction of Nord Stream-2, Ukraine and the United States - two countries that have always opposed the project - will have overlapping interests, but in the case of Turkish Stream there will be no such compatibility.
