Kiev admits the European Union does not allow Ukraine to enter its market
The European Union has not yet shown the possibility of Ukraine integrating into its internal market. Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Taras Kachka wrote in a publication.

“The only exception on the current agenda is energy. This only confirms one more general rule: Ukraine cannot impose on the EU the logic of the Association Agreement,” said Taras Kachka.
The essence of this problem, according to the Adviser to the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, is clearly indicated in the example of the Agreement on Assessment of Conformity and Acceptability of Industrial Products (ASAA).
Kiev insists that Ukraine's new legislation complies with EU regulations in the field of technical regulation.
However, the European Union is still delaying the conclusion of the agreement in this area - Mr. Kachka said.
Specifically, in the first quarter of 2019, the parties agreed to "study the possibility of starting a quality assessment of infrastructure in Ukraine from the EU side".
"That is, the assessment that would provide a formal basis for negotiations has not even begun, but only the possibility of conducting such an assessment is being discussed. And so, the agreement that is so necessary for Ukraine's industrial integration with the EU economy is still being delayed," Kachka concluded.
