Kim Ly: "I try my best to have a happy ending with Ho Ngoc Ha"

The relationship between Kim Ly and Ho Ngoc Ha has recently attracted attention. After starring together in the MV Ca mot troi thuong nho, they often attend events together and have intimate gestures. On their personal pages, they give each other sweet words. However, the two have never confirmed that they love each other. On the evening of April 14, at an event in Hanoi, Kim Ly shared about his love story for the first time.

- In your eyes, what kind of person is Ho Ngoc Ha?

- She is a wonderful woman. She is a fashion icon. Her way of dressing and presenting herself in public is unique and different. I think she stands out from the crowd. Ho Ngoc Ha has a very attractive personality. She is decisive, quick-witted and focused. Ha works hard and professionally. I admire Ha for those qualities. In both work and life, Ha inspires me to try harder, to develop all my potential in the best possible way. Ho Ngoc Ha and I have many things in common, such as our love of movies, music, travel, and discovering new things together.

We are both workaholics but family-oriented. We both care about the people we love. I learned a lot from her good behavior with friends, family, and relatives. In general, I think she is very compatible with me and I am happy about that. My family also met Ho Ngoc Ha. Everything went smoothly and happily. My parents are open-minded. They think Ha is a wonderful woman. And in fact, she is.

- When conflicts arise, how do you resolve them?

- Our love story is like everyone else's. Both Ha and I have strong personalities, so arguments are inevitable. We both want to defend our point of view to the end. But we both understand that we should not keep our frustrations inside but always find the most suitable compromise. If the matter is not too serious, we both try to let it go. Each person will also find a way to understand the other's point of view and explain to the other person their thoughts. After all, the one who has to endure that frustration is none other than us. As I often say: "If there is an argument, make sure neither of us has to go to bed angry."

I also think that in an argument, a man must always be aware of when to be assertive and when not to. Sometimes, even if you win against your woman, you will still be the loser. I never yell or raise my voice when arguing with my lover because it only makes the situation more tense.

- What do you think about the possibility of two people getting married?

- I think anyone entering a love relationship wants a happy ending with their other half. The older they get, the wiser they become before each decision and know what they want in life. I always believe that the relationship between me and Ho Ngoc Ha has a great chance to reach a long-term, sustainable goal. I will try my best to achieve a happy ending with the person I love.

- Lately, you spend a lot of time with your girlfriend at events as well as in your personal life. What do you say about the opinion that you are too busy with love and neglect your work?

- My last film was released a year and a half ago. As an actor and a producer, when working on film projects, I need time to develop them. Currently, I work on many projects at the same time, there is no distraction. But I think that in life, besides work, I need to spend time with family and relatives. Relationships need to be properly cared for to be strong. I am not the type of person who spends all my time on work.

- At the age of 35, what is your concept of love?

- I think everyone in life has to go through sad love stories. I also don't want to be with someone who has never failed in love. Because every time we go through such things, we learn many things for ourselves and become more mature. Ho Ngoc Ha has gone through a sad past. All of that makes her who she is today. If Ha had not gone through such things, we probably wouldn't have found each other.

Love to me is something very natural, blossoming over time. Everyone has to go through the vibrations when they first meet, get to know each other, and say they love each other. One day, you realize both the good and bad, the strengths and weaknesses of the other person and are ready to accept everything. Only then can love truly be called love. And when you know how to accept everything from the other half, the more time passes, the stronger the love becomes. Once people have that special connection, sometimes just being together, without saying anything, feels like life is more than enough.
