Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen (village 20) said: In recent years, her family has planted chives, which bring high economic value, so this 2016 onion crop, her family expanded the area to 3 sao (nearly 0.6ha). To achieve high onion yield, the land must be cleared of weeds, loose, smooth, and planted when the land is still dry.
Not only Ms. Yen's family but also many households in hamlet 19 and hamlet 20 are taking advantage of the opportunity to plant the remaining shallot fields before the heavy rains come.
