Vietnamese swimmer's results at SEA Games 30 were canceled
Vu Thi Phuong Anh finished first in the women's 200m breaststroke qualifying round, but was later eliminated due to a false start.
Phuong Anh swam alongside Nguyen Thi Anh Vien in the first heat (Heat 1). The 18-year-old swimmer took the lead in the first 50 meters, and maintained her position until the finish line, with a time of 2 minutes 37.75 seconds - 0.04 seconds ahead of her senior Anh Vien. This result was enough for Phuong Anh to enter the final.
However, she was later disqualified for moving up slightly before the starting whistle blew.
When she returned to the team's training camp, Phuong Anh sat alone and sobbed. Despite being comforted by the coaching staff and teammates, she continued to cry as she carried her belongings into the locker room to avoid attention.

Phuong Anh will also participate in some other events in the coming days. The coaching staff hopes that she will overcome her sadness and compete well.
With Phuong Anh eliminated, Anh Vien is the only representative of Vietnam in the 200m breaststroke final. She finished 5th in the qualifying round. In addition, Anh Vien also competed in the 50m backstroke final on the afternoon of December 5.
