German economy hit hard by conflict with Russia

As the news report notes, Berlin cannot replenish its reserves by purchasing oil even from other countries, namely Kazakhstan. To transport crude from there, it is necessary to transit it through the Russian Druzhba pipeline, so Berlin is forced to negotiate with Moscow on oil transportation.
