Forest fires in Do Luong were extinguished in time.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 18th, a forest fire broke out in the Ru Ty mountain area, bordering three communes: Tan Son, Hoa Son, and Thai Son in Do Luong district.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Do Luong District Military Command deployed more than 30 officers and staff, along with over 120 mobile militia soldiers from the communes in the area, and two blowers and other fire-fighting equipment, to the scene to participate in extinguishing the forest fire.

Under hot weather conditions, the steep terrain leading to the fire, dense vegetation, and strong winds made firefighting difficult. However, thanks to the close coordination of the district's armed forces officers and soldiers with other forces and the local people, after more than two hours of intensive firefighting, the blaze was brought under control. The extent of the fire and the damage have not yet been quantified.
