Kosovo threatens EU: Will merge with Albania if not recognized
Kosovo may hold a referendum on unification with Albania if the European Union does not recognize the republic, President Hashim Tachi said on Dukagjini TV.

He noted that if the European Union does not quickly grant visa freedom to Kosovo, it will contribute to the isolation of this unrecognized State.
"We can do it through parliamentary resolutions or by holding referendums in Kosovo and Albania... If the EU does not want to accept two Albanian states with two flags, let them accept a common flag," Tachi was quoted as saying by Al Jazeera Balkans.
Such a move, he said, "would restore historical justice."
On May 28, Kosovo ROSU special police in armored vehicles during an “anti-corruption” operation invaded the territory of the northern regions, where the majority of the population is Serbs.
