Participating in Do Manh Cuong's "Life in Color" show in Phu Quoc, Ky Duyen was trusted by the designer to take the most important position even though he had many "muses" who were professional models such as Hoang Thuy, Minh Trieu, Vo Hoang Yen, and Mau Thuy.

Ky Duyen believes that designers invited her to the vedette position of big shows probably because of the title of Miss Vietnam 2014, however not all beauty queens have the ability to perform on the catwalk. "Duyen feels that she has the right height (176cm) and the right body for a model, besides that, Duyen's charisma is also very suitable for high-end fashion, so maybe that's what designers need."

At the "Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2017" held in Ho Chi Minh City, in addition to appearing in Thuy Nguyen's show, Ky Duyen also created a highlight for the finale of Do Long's "Addiction" collection.

Ky Duyen walked in a dress with elaborate embellishments and a combination of thin chiffon and transparent plastic materials specially prepared for the vedette.

By continuously appearing in fashion shows that are of interest to experts and audiences, Ky Duyen has surpassed supermodels to become the "vedette queen" of Vietnamese fashion in 2017.

Entering the fall-winter fashion season, Miss Vietnam 2014 continues to be the soul of the shows introducing the latest collections of Vietnamese designers. Notably, her performance at the program "Her Legend - Legend of the Girl" organized by Adrian Anh Tuan in Da Nang.

When appearing alongside famous models of the Vietnamese fashion industry in shows, Ky Duyen is likened to a breath of fresh air, bringing a different highlight.

Ky Duyen wore an evening gown decorated with elaborate feathers to take the vedette position at the show "Night dream" by designer Duc Vincie.

The beauty queen looked like a "snow queen" in a wedding dress studded with 200 diamonds worth about 3 billion VND at the "Snow White" show by designer Lek Chi.

"For Duyen, beauty pageant is not a profession, however, if I want the audience to recognize my talent, I have to develop it in a certain field, and fashion is something I am extremely passionate about. Every time I walked on the catwalk, I was fascinated, from then on I studied catwalk and how to pose more and also diligently performed to gain more experience," Ky Duyen shared.
