(Baonghean.vn) - In accordance with the Law on the Organization of People's Councils and People's Committees dated November 26, 2003; and the Regulations on the Operation of People's Councils in 2005, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 14th session of the 16th term of the Provincial People's Council to review the results of the implementation of the Provincial People's Council Resolution on socio-economic development, the situation of the implementation of the State budget estimates for the first six months of 2015, decide on the socio-economic tasks of the province for the last six months of 2015, and other issues within the duties and powers of the Provincial People's Council...

At the session, the Provincial People's Council is expected to consider and approve resolutions on socio-economic issues such as planning, agriculture and rural development, mineral exploitation, new rural development, justice, and resolutions on personnel matters within the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

The 14th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council was held from July 8 to 10, 2015 in Vinh City.
