Signing of cooperation between the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Nghe An Irrigation Association
(Baonghean.vn) - To strengthen coordination and promote the role of Nghe An Irrigation Association in developing irrigation in particular and the agriculture and rural development sector in general, on the afternoon of July 11, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Nghe An Irrigation Association held a signing ceremony of the Agreement on coordination between the two sides. Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Ho Ngoc Sy - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Tran Huu Luc - Chairman of Nghe An Irrigation Association and related departments.
According to the agreement, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will create conditions and invite Nghe An Irrigation Association to contribute ideas for industry development such as building strategies, planning, plans, and policies for irrigation development; related scientific, technological, and technical issues; participating in consulting and giving feedback in the fields of building plans for natural disaster prevention, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, planning projects and basic construction investment in irrigation; participating in or chairing scientific research topics, technology transfer; participating in reviewing PCBL plans, handling incidents of irrigation works, etc.

The two sides agreed: The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is responsible for directing agencies, units under the Department and the entire industry to closely coordinate with the Association, specifying the contents that need to be coordinated to include in the annual plan and implement. The Nghe An Irrigation Association needs to proactively coordinate and propose specific coordination activities for implementation. Annually, the two units will organize a preliminary conference to evaluate the results of coordination work in the year and agree on coordination contents for the following year./.
