In the period of 2016-2020, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Social Insurance have closely coordinated with the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's legal policies on social insurance, health insurance and new regulations onsocial insurance policywidely disseminated and disseminated to all party members, the masses, employers and workers.

As of the end of April 2021, the whole province had 2,942,170 people participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance (UI). Of which, the number of people participating in social insurance was 326,573, reaching a coverage rate of 17.69% compared to the working-age labor force; the number of people participating in compulsory social insurance was 239,842; the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance was 86,731; the number of people participating in health insurance was 2,855,439 (reaching a coverage rate of 90.62% of the population).
