Signing of data collection agreement for the project "Vietnam Digital Map Data Platform"
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 11, in Vinh City, the Provincial Post Office and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the signing of a coordination regulation to implement data collection for the project "Vietnam Digital Map Data Platform".
The minutes of signing the agreement were conducted on the basis of the guidance documents of the Government Office, the Ministry of Information and Communications; then, Vietnam Post Corporation and the Provincial People's Committee issued a document assigning the Provincial Post Office and the Provincial Youth Union as the main units to organize the implementation.

The project's objective is to collect data on all locations and place names in the province. The data collection includes the name of the address, the detailed address of the location (house number, street, alley in the city or hamlet, cluster, group... in the countryside). The objects collected are houses, restaurants, banks, post offices...). In addition, special locations such as schools, medical sites, administrative agencies, tourist attractions, public post offices... will be photographed for data.
According to the agreement at the signing ceremony, the Provincial Post Office will undertake 70%, and the Provincial Youth Union will undertake 30% of the workload; at the same time, the two units will assign departments to monitor and implement.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Tuan Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union reminded the members of their roles and tasks. The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Post Office are the two pioneering forces, leading the project implementation.
The goal is to complete the project in January 2019, so we must focus on mastering the software installation process and mastering the technology platform to collect data for the project effectively and accurately. In addition to the areas of districts and urban areas in the plains, pay attention to the technology platform in difficult mountainous areas to provide further guidance and support to the implementers; each individual assigned to be in charge needs to grasp the details of each member and each area.
