According to the Department of Tourism, during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, Nghe An province welcomed and served about 320,000 tourists, with total revenue estimated at over 635 billion VND.
The National Day holiday lasted for 4 days, the weather was favorable for sightseeing, entertainment and recreation activities of the people. Therefore, destinations in Nghe An attracted a large number of tourists to visit, experience resort services, entertainment and cuisine.
According to the general assessment, the work of ensuring security, order and safety at tourist areas and spots in the province is guaranteed, there are no incidents that disrupt security and order, affecting the safety of tourists.
As a result, during the 4-day holiday (from August 31 to September 3), Nghe An province welcomed and served 320,000 visitors, an increase of 19% compared to 2023, of which 110,000 guests stayed (an increase of 22% compared to 2023). Total tourism revenue is estimated at over 635 billion VND, an increase of 27% compared to 2023.

Some prominent tourist areas and destinations with many visitors include: Cua Lo Town with more than 180,000 visitors; Kim Lien Special National Relic Site (Nam Dan) with more than 40,000 visitors; Con Cuong District with about 10,000 visitors; Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site (Do Luong) with 8,000 visitors.
In addition, destinations such as Ong Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen), Quynh Beach, Dien Thanh Beach, Muong Thanh Dien Lam Eco-tourism Area (Dien Chau), 7-storey waterfall complex (Que Phong) ... also attract a large number of tourists to visit and experience./.
