(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Department of Tourism's report, during the 5-day holiday of April 30 and May 1, Nghe An province welcomed and served about 950,000 tourists, with total revenue estimated at 1,700 billion VND.
The 30/4 - 1/5 holiday lasted for 5 days, the weather was favorable for sightseeing, entertainment and recreation activities of the people. Therefore, destinations in Nghe An attracted a large number of tourists to visit, experience resort services, entertainment and cuisine.

According to the general assessment, security, order and safety at tourist areas and spots in the province are guaranteed, with no incidents causing loss of security and order, affecting the safety of tourists.
During the 5-day holiday (April 27 - May 1), Nghe An province welcomed and served 950,000 tourists (equal to 122% compared to 2023), of which the number of overnight guests is estimated at 350,000. The average room occupancy rate reached over 90%. Total tourism revenue is estimated at over VND 1,700 billion.

Some prominent tourist areas and spots with many visitors include: Cua Lo Town with more than 300,000 visitors (of which, 140,000 visitors stayed); Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan) with more than 60,000 visitors; Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site (Do Luong) with 24,000 visitors; Ong Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen) with about 23,000 visitors, Con Cuong District with about 22,000 visitors.

Besides, destinations such as Quynh beach, Dien Thanh beach, Muong Thanh Dien Lam eco-tourism area (Dien Chau), 7-storey waterfall complex (Que Phong)... also attract a large number of tourists to visit and experience.
