Celebrating the 35th anniversary of Nghe An Publishing House.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 19th, Nghe An Publishing House held a ceremony to celebrate its 35th anniversary (September 1980 – September 2015) and a gathering of authors and collaborators who have been associated with the Publishing House throughout its journey of establishment and development.

The Nghe An Publishing House, formerly the Nghe Tinh Publishing House, was established and officially began operations in September 1980. The Nghe An Publishing House is the political, ideological, and cultural agency of the Provincial Party Committee, tasked with publishing various books and other publications to serve cadres and the people of the province.

Over the past 35 years, Nghe An Publishing House has published more than 4,000 titles, millions of copies across various genres and topics such as history, cultural geography, books on famous figures, contemporary literature and art, books about President Ho Chi Minh and his homeland and family, folk literature, etc. Many works by authors published at Nghe An Publishing House have been loved and highly appreciated by readers; among them, many authors have received high awards: the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Professor Nguyen Dong Chi, the State Prize for Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao, poet Tran Huu Thung, and Minh Hue with awards from the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations…
