Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Party Inspection sector's tradition day

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches, districts, cities and towns.

On October 16, 1948, in the Viet Bac War Zone, the Party Central Committee Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 29-QN/TW on the establishment of the Central Inspection Committee. This was the basis for the Politburo Standing Committee (VIII tenure) to agree to take October 16, 1948 as the traditional day of the Party's Inspection sector.

In Nghe An, implementing the Central's policy and practical requirements, on May 16, 1949, the Provincial Party Executive Committee assigned comrade Hoang Ngoc Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to be in charge of the Party's inspection work and to organize a province-wide inspection conference.

In July 1953, the Provincial Party Committee assigned three members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, including Le Huy Diep, Dang Khuong and Ngo Sinh, to be in charge of Party inspection work. Implementing Resolution No. 04 - NQ/TW dated March 6, 1956 of the Politburo "on strengthening inspection work and establishing Party Inspection Committees at all levels", Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 799 - QN/TU dated November 14, 1957 to establish the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Party Inspection Committee. From 1960, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee was changed to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee. At the 5th National Party Congress (March 1982), the Party Charter stipulated that grassroots Party Committees were allowed to appoint Inspection Committees.

Since then, the Inspection Commission has been established as a complete and unified system from the central to the grassroots level. Since its establishment, the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Commission and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province have continuously developed and matured in all aspects, maintaining and promoting the tradition of always excellently completing assigned tasks.

In recognition of the achievements of the inspection staff at all levels of the province, the Party and the State have awarded the Nghe An Provincial Party Inspection sector many noble awards such as: Third-class Labor Medal, First-class Labor Medal, Third-class Independence Medal. The Government awarded 6 Excellent Emulation Flags, the Central Inspection Commission awarded 6 Excellent Emulation Flags and 7 Certificates of Merit. The Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial People's Committee awarded 6 Certificates of Merit.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, congratulated and commended the achievements and results of the Nghe An Provincial Inspection Department, of the collectives and individuals of generations of Party inspection cadres from the province to the grassroots level in the past time.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Inspection and supervision work is the task of the entire Party, of Party committees at all levels from the Central to the grassroots, in which the Inspection Commissions at all levels are the core. In the coming time, Party committees, Party organizations and leaders need to regularly lead, direct and personally carry out inspection and supervision tasks.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh also requested that it is necessary to deeply understand that inspection and supervision work must be carried out proactively, regularly, comprehensively and closely; in which prevention and construction are the main priorities; not only clarifying shortcomings and handling violations but also discovering and encouraging new factors, promoting the dynamism and creativity of party organizations and party members and contributing to the leadership and direction of the Party and the State. When violations are discovered, they must be promptly reviewed and strictly handled.

Party committees and organizations, especially leaders, need to spend more time on inspection work; fully promote the role of the Inspection Commission in advising and assisting Party committees in leading and directing the implementation of inspection and supervision work; direct close, synchronous and unified coordination between the Party's inspection and supervision work and the inspection, investigation, examination and supervision work of State agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Inspectors must have a strong political stance, be steadfast, have a healthy lifestyle, have clear moral qualities, and at the same time, must have broad knowledge, deep professional knowledge, and especially must have a high fighting spirit to dare to fight against wrongdoings and violations. Therefore, Party committees at all levels need to pay great attention to building a team of inspectors;...

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh presented the Party Inspection sector with a banner with the content: "Nghe An Provincial Party Inspection Sector is loyal, united, honest and disciplined".

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Thi Thuy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission affirmed that, entering a new stage of the country, our Party determined to continue to promote the work of Party building and rectification with a more determined and stronger spirit and attitude.

From there, he emphasized that Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels, first of all the leaders, must be more deeply aware of the position, role and importance of Party inspection, supervision and discipline work. Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels need to focus on comprehensively implementing the tasks of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement according to regulations in the spirit of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions, no gaps"; strengthen inspection and supervision of heads of Party committees and organizations...

The Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission also emphasized the need to continue to conduct focused and key inspections, and to expand supervision; at the same time, continue to carry out propaganda work well, focusing on building and perfecting the organization and staff of inspection work;...
